Cool Melandrus Mage (experimental stages)

Profession: E/R

Name: Melandrus Mage

Type: PvP only slightly tested though. (may be useful for PvE)

Category: Earth Nuker(with a twist)

Attributes:14earth magic
10energys torage
10wilderness survival

Skills Set: Stoning
Eruption
Earthquake
Stone Daggers
Earth Att
Res Sig
Melandru's Resilience {Elite}
Serpents Quikness

Summary: The basic gist of this build is to do damage. I thought, maybe I could keep energy and health up by using the things i hated most, hexes and conditions. So i finally found a skill that does this: "Melandru's Resilience {Elite}" When this is active you gain 3 health regen and 1 energy regen for how many conditions and hexes you have on you. So basically you're using them against the enemy. The rest of the skills are fairly self explanitory, serpents quickness is used to down the recharge of the skills. I just need some ideas for it to make it better. (btw MR is a stance and can't be removed)

Notes & Concerns: Dont be too harsh only contructive critisism please. (I did the rangers test in desert to get ranger secondary with hench! nearly cried when i did it)
Credit:I credit myself.

It's a good idea, and a good use for a not often used elite. My only criticism would be that you if you bumped wilderness upto 12, you could run obsidian flesh permenatly, thus never getting hexed in the first place If you used it in conjunction with aura of restoration, you'd have a good health regen as well.

I know that kind of defeats the whole point of the build though so I apoligise :P There is a lot to be said in it being a stance like you say so it might work out better in PvP, especially as it's not a "known" build (unlike the perm ob flesh or mist form ones). Would certainly make you laugh at mesmers, unless it's an e-denial one of course... :P

Yeh, I've just used barbed trap instead of serpents and its working well, (funny to see warriors run over to u and get crippled) also no one expects a ele to trap

"nuker" isnt really the proper word. more spiker, seeing as most spells ignore armor. also, wheres aftershock in this? cant forget aftershock when u got earthquake
